Consulting Psychologists Press Test Instructions
To take the California Psychological Inventory (CPI), and/or the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), please follow these instructions. Note: In order to have these instructions available to you while taking the test at the Consulting Psychologists Press website, you must either print a hard copy of this page now, or alternate between this window and the Consulting Psychologists Press window as needed.
1. Go to the website for Consulting Psychologists Press by clicking here: http://online.cpp-db.com/
2. Once you have reached the Consulting Psychologists Press website, complete the login area as follows:
 Login: (provided in a letter or email sent to you)
Password: (provided in a letter or email sent to you)
User ID: (leave blank)
3. Choose one of the tests that have been assigned to you by clicking the corresponding "Take It" button at the bottom of the screen.
4. Fill in your first and last names, gender, and other demographic information. Click on "Continue Now."
5. Complete all questions in the inventory using the mouse to indicate your answer. Leave no more than 10 items blank or your profile may be invalid. Click on "Done" when you are finished. Your results will be automatically sent to Dr. Bridges via the internet.
6. At the next screen, you will be provided with a User ID. Write this number down—you will need it if you stop during a test and wish to resume at a later time.
7. After clicking "Done," you will be returned to the main page. You now have the option of completing another inventory, resuming an inventory you have already begun but not completed, or you may leave the site if you are completely done.
8. If you choose to resume a previous test or complete a different Consulting Psychologists Press test at a later time, repeat these instructions, but instead of leaving the User ID field blank in step #2, type in your User ID from step #6.
